Our client is in the process of integrating apps with people data that sits in a database which has some very old interfaces. They want to start the beginning of a DW that will allow them to populate this data and make that the new integration point for all apps that need that data.  We are looking for someone with hands on experience implementing a data warehouse (SQL Server).  This is not going to be for a high load of transactions or terabytes worth of data.  The system needs to be scalable over time but for now it’s relatively small.   Candidates must have the ability to talk to the business, have Microsoft stack expertise, live locally, wider view understanding of the end to end system and how it relates to other systems, ex-developer, etc.  Day to day, the candidate will be doing design, architecture and will be very hands on with the implementation.  Some of the high level architecture has been done already but this person will need to work with engineering, offshore teams and other architects to see it through.  The position runs through 9/30 with the possibility of extension.
